Wish Town Wins: Suraksha Group Completes 6,000 Homes

Suraksha Group, which took over Jaypee Infratech Limited (JIL) in 2024, has completed the construction of nearly 6,000 housing units across multiple projects in JIL Wish Town. Occupancy certificates (OCs) have already been secured for 3,135 units spread across 31 towers.

Applications for OCs are currently pending for an additional 2,854 units in 32 towers. Despite challenges such as construction restrictions imposed under the GRAP norms during the winter months, the company remains on track with its delivery schedule. Suraksha Group aims to deliver around 20,000 homes by 2027. So far, construction has been completed on 63 towers, while work continues at full pace on the remaining units.

Commenting on the progress, Jash Panchamia, Executive Director of Jaypee Infratech, said that the company remains committed to timely delivery in line with the approved resolution plan. Suraksha Group plans to invest approximately ₹5,500 crore to complete the construction of about 20,000 homes in Noida and Greater Noida. The resolution plan, approved by the NCLAT, also provides for compensation to farmers for land acquisition.
