Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced plans to develop a Tree of Life resort at Panheli in Raigad, Maharashtra.
Set amidst the picturesque Sahyadri hills, the resort will feature a private airstrip providing convenient access from Mumbai and Pune. The property will offer 28 guest rooms, a riverside dining area, and an array of recreational facilities including nature trails, a golf course, and a private theatre. With over 5,000 sq. ft. of banqueting space, it will also serve as a venue for events and gatherings.
Surrounded by natural attractions such as the Murud Janjira Fort and Deoghar Waterfalls, the project will further strengthen IHCL’s presence in Maharashtra—taking its portfolio in the state to 54 hotels, including 27 under development. The resort is designed to appeal to discerning travellers seeking a tranquil, nature-inspired escape.
