IHCL Expands Airport Hub Strategy with Ginger Mumbai T2

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced plans to open a new Ginger hotel at Terminal 2 of Mumbai International Airport.

Developed in partnership with Hazoor Multiprojects, the 200-room hotel will be part of a mixed-use complex featuring retail and commercial spaces. The project further strengthens Ginger’s presence in major transit hubs across India. The upcoming Ginger Mumbai Airport T2 property will cater to both business and leisure travellers, offering amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant (Qmin), a contemporary bar, meeting rooms, and a fitness centre. It also adds to the brand’s expanding footprint at key airports in cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa.

According to IHCL’s Suma Venkatesh, rising passenger traffic at Terminal 2 is driving strong demand for hospitality services. The new Ginger hotel will complement the existing property at Terminal 1, establishing a dual presence across Mumbai’s busiest airport terminals.
