ITC Hotels has announced the acquisition of 100 percent stake in the Kumarakom-based The Zuri Hotels & Resorts property in Kerala for an enterprise value of ₹205 crore, on a debt-free and cash-free basis.
The transaction, which is expected to be completed within the next few days, will strengthen ITC Hotels’ presence in one of India’s key high-growth leisure tourism destinations. The premium 72-key lakeside resort is spread across 18 acres of landscaped property along the banks of Vembanad Lake.
The resort generated revenue of ₹21.91 crore in FY26 and is slated to be rebranded as a luxury property under the ITC Hotels portfolio following a planned renovation and upgrade programme.
According to the company, the Indian hospitality sector has continued to witness stable growth despite a challenging operating environment in recent months. ITC Hotels added that sustained demand in the luxury travel segment, coupled with a supply-demand gap in premium hospitality assets, makes the acquisition strategically important for expanding its domestic portfolio.
