ITC Hotels has secured a long-term lease for a land parcel at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi, from the India International Convention and Exhibition Centre (IICC) for the development of a premium five-star hotel.
The proposed property will feature high-end banqueting facilities and signature dining offerings, strengthening Yashobhoomi’s positioning as a leading international destination for conventions, conferences, and exhibitions. The IICC has leased a plot measuring approximately 3,648 sq metres, with a permissible floor area ratio (FAR) of about 26,179 sq metres. A sub-lease-cum-development agreement will be executed for the construction and operation of the hotel.
The hotel is envisioned to combine luxury hospitality with distinctive culinary experiences. Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels, said Yashobhoomi is rapidly transforming India’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) landscape and is already hosting major trade shows and conventions. “ITCHL shall leave no stone unturned to create one of the finest hospitality offerings, showcasing our culinary and service excellence to global guests,” he said.
ITC Hotels currently has a strong presence in the Delhi NCR region, with 10 properties and over 1,500 rooms across multiple brands.
