A Titan Grows: Shree Cement Hits 65.8 MTPA Milestone

Shree Cement has commissioned RAS Unit-11 at its integrated manufacturing complex in Jaitaran, Rajasthan, marking a significant expansion of its production capabilities.

The newly commissioned unit adds 3.65 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of clinker capacity and 3.0 MTPA of cement capacity, reinforcing the Jaitaran facility’s status as one of Asia’s largest and most technologically advanced single-location cement plants. Designed as a fully integrated unit, RAS Unit-11 strengthens clinkerisation and grinding operations, enabling efficient supply to key markets across North India.

With the addition of this unit, Shree Cement’s total cement production capacity in India has increased to 65.8 MTPA. The facility incorporates advanced automation, modern infrastructure, and energy-efficient technologies, including a 22 MW waste heat recovery system and the use of alternative fuels.

This expansion further underscores Shree Cement’s leadership in large-scale, sustainable cement manufacturing in the country.
