Ambuja Cements Limited has commissioned a 2.4 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) brownfield expansion of its cement grinding unit at Marwar Mundwa in Rajasthan, further strengthening its manufacturing presence in the region.
With the commissioning of the expanded facility, the company’s consolidated cement capacity has increased to 108.85 MTPA. The expansion is part of Ambuja Cements’ strategy to enhance capacity, improve operational efficiencies, and cater to rising demand across key markets.
The Marwar Mundwa unit is expected to bolster the company’s supply capabilities in western and northern India, supporting its long-term growth objectives in the domestic cement industry.
