Hi-Tech Pipes: Now Manufacturing in Kathua!

Hi-Tech Pipes has commenced commercial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir.

The new plant has an installed capacity of 80,000 tonnes per annum and is designed to manufacture ERW steel pipes, coated steel products and other value-added steel solutions. Equipped with modern manufacturing infrastructure, advanced automation and stringent quality control systems, the facility is expected to meet high customer and industry standards.

With the commissioning of the Kathua unit, Hi-Tech Pipes is nearing a total installed manufacturing capacity of one million tonnes per annum, further strengthening its position among India’s fastest-growing steel tube and pipe manufacturers.

The greenfield facility aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its focus on value-added products, which is expected to enhance its product mix. The additional capacity is anticipated to contribute meaningfully to the company’s growth from Q4 of FY26 onwards.
