The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is planning to establish a new industrial estate in Advan, Igatpuri taluka, Nashik district, spanning 675 acres. Discussions for land acquisition are currently underway with local farmers. Advan’s strategic location—just 25 km from the Samruddhi Highway and near the proposed Igatpuri-Wadhvan port road—is expected to drive industrial growth in the region.
“We have identified 675 acres for the new industrial area in Advan, Igatpuri taluka. Joint land measurement has begun, and we are engaging with farmers for land acquisition,” said Sonali Mule, Deputy CEO of MIDC.
Nashik continues to emerge as a key manufacturing hub, benefiting from its strategic location, favorable climate, and abundant water resources. MIDC has previously developed industrial estates in Talegaon-Akrale and Ajang, Malegaon taluka. Additionally, two major industries have been allotted land in Talegaon-Akrale, with a combined investment exceeding ₹2,500 crore.
