The State-Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC), chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg, approved 23 new industrial proposals worth ₹4,111.8 crore on 10 February 2026.

The projects, spread across 11 districts, are expected to generate nearly 10,000 employment opportunities. The approved proposals span diverse sectors, including mechanical and electrical capital goods, textiles, aerospace and defence manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and allied industries.

Among the major approvals are Kalinga Metalics’ ₹600 crore iron ore beneficiation plant in Sundargarh and Shree Ram Iron and Alloys’ ₹250 crore pellet plant in Deogarh. Other key projects include Rashmi Metallurgical Industries’ 3 MTPA plant, Aryas Iron & Steel’s beneficiation facility, and Eastside Subh Steel’s processing unit in Sundargarh.

Notable investments also include Nipha’s railway component manufacturing plant in Khurda and Inventgrid India’s advanced drone manufacturing centre in Ganjam. The latter alone is expected to generate around 1,000 jobs and significantly strengthen the state’s aerospace and defence manufacturing ecosystem.
