Data Centers Lead AP's Massive ₹2.08 Lakh Crore Industrial Push

The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB), chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has cleared 25 industrial projects worth ₹2.08 lakh crore, projected to create 21,627 jobs. Over 84% of the investments are concentrated in massive data-centre projects across Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli, spearheaded by firms like ReNew, Data Center Holdings India, and AM Intelligence Labs. Alongside renewables, manufacturing, and electronics, the state is also pushing for rural industrial parks and crucial infrastructure upgrades like the Moolapeta Port.
