Data Patterns (India) Limited has secured a ₹288 crore contract from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for the supply of 34 Doppler Weather Radars.
The contract covers the design, supply, and delivery of the radar systems, which are aimed at enhancing IMD’s weather monitoring and forecasting capabilities across the country.
The company noted that the agreement had been under negotiation earlier and has now been formally awarded. This order represents a significant addition to Data Patterns’ portfolio in the weather radar and advanced electronics systems segment.
