Azad Engineering, a leader in precision engineering, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art 7,200 sq. metre lean manufacturing facility at its Centre of Excellence & Innovation in Tunikibollaram, Hyderabad.
This new facility is specifically designed to meet capacity commitments for Siemens Energy, marking a key milestone in the decade-long strategic partnership between the two companies. The inauguration was attended by senior global leadership from Siemens Energy, underscoring the significance of the collaboration.
Azad Engineering’s partnership with Siemens began in 2012, initially focused on manufacturing rotating airfoils for SGT 400 machines. It has since evolved into a comprehensive global engagement, involving the supply of complex airfoils and precision-machined critical components for Siemens Energy’s international operations.
Rakesh Chopdar, Chairman and CEO of Azad Engineering, highlighted the company’s ongoing investments in advanced manufacturing technologies, cutting-edge equipment, and workforce skill development to consistently meet Siemens’ stringent quality and performance standards.
