Haryana on the Move: CM Reviews ₹217 Cr Water & Road Projects

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a high-level PRAGATI review meeting to evaluate the progress of major development projects across the state, directing departments to speed up execution and resolve pending bottlenecks.

The review focused on key sectors including urban development, health infrastructure, tourism, archaeology, and emergency services. A significant project discussed was the ₹217 crore augmentation scheme for the master water supply system in Faridabad, which includes the installation of 12 Ranney Wells along the Yamuna floodplains. Officials reported 67% physical progress, with two wells completed and remaining work progressing in phases.

In the road infrastructure segment, the Chief Minister instructed authorities to fast-track construction of a 120-metre-wide road connecting Bye-Pass Road to NH-8 in Rewari, which is currently 65% complete.

The meeting highlighted the state government’s continued focus on ensuring timely completion of critical infrastructure projects across Haryana.
