The Indore Development Authority (IDA) board has granted administrative approval for major infrastructure projects totaling over Rs 135 crore, focusing on traffic decongestion and urban expansion. Key sanctions include Rs 76.59 crore for a flyover at Radisson Square on the Eastern Ring Road, alongside allocations for an additional flyover at Robot Square. Furthermore, the board approved Rs 6.56 crore for the MR-09 road linking the Agra-Mumbai Bypass to Scheme No. 5. A central highlight of the approval is the development of a proposed Aerocity near Scheme No. 172, backed by a Rs 52.61 crore investment for a 75-meter-wide, 1.5-kilometer connecting road to the airport, designed to spur commercial growth, hospitality, and service-sector activity.
