Odisha Invests INR 1.48 Crore in Next-Gen Solar Training

Odisha is taking a major step toward a sustainable future! A new green energy Center of Excellence (CoE) is coming up at Bhubaneswar's World Skill Centre, backed by an INR 1.48 crore CSR investment from the Odisha Hydro Power Corporation. Spanning 3,000 sq. ft. at Kausal Bhawan, the facility will bridge the green skills gap by training 300 young people every year in cutting-edge tech—from floating solar farms to IoT-enabled energy management. By prioritizing women and candidates from OHPC's operational districts, this initiative is set to unlock powerful self-employment and career opportunities in India's clean energy boom.
