Rs 33,660-Crore BHAVYA Initiative Gets a Deadline Extension

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has extended the deadline for the second round of phase-one applications under the Rs 33,660-crore Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (BHAVYA) by one month. Approved by the Union Cabinet in March, the flagship scheme aims to build 100 modern plug-and-play industrial parks across India. The extension was finalized following a National-level Steering Committee meeting on September 14, as announced by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
