Sambhal's New Chapter: CM Yogi's Master Plan Takes Shape

On 16 November 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a review meeting in Sambhal to assess progress on development initiatives and improvements in law and order.

He outlined a phased development plan for the district. The first phase will focus on the restoration of ancient pilgrimage sites and traditional stepwells, followed by cultural projects such as a museum and light-and-sound facilities. The second phase will include the construction of a District Court, jail, and PAC unit. The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite land acquisition and accelerate work on critical infrastructure, including roads and public amenities along major pilgrimage routes.

Discussions also covered the revival of the Mahishmati River and the implementation of government schemes such as the Vandan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Vaishwik Nagarodaya Yojana, with instructions to ensure their timely completion. CM Adityanath further stressed the urgent establishment of a CBG plant and faster execution of the Namami Gange river restoration project.
