Sona Comstar + NEURA: The Future of Robotics is Here

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. (Sona Comstar) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Germany-based NEURA Robotics to jointly develop and industrialise advanced robotics and humanoid technologies.

The MoU was signed on 10 October at NEURA’s headquarters in Metzingen, Germany. Through this partnership, the companies will co-design and manufacture high-tech components and sub-assemblies for robots and humanoids, with plans to introduce these innovations in India and other strategic markets.

Headquartered in Gurugram, Sona Comstar is a global mobility technology company with deep capabilities in electric powertrains, precision engineering, and advanced manufacturing across India, the U.S., Mexico, Serbia, and China. NEURA Robotics, founded in 2019, is a trailblazer in cognitive robotics, integrating AI to enable sensory awareness and basic cognitive abilities in machines.

This collaboration aligns with the growing global shift toward intelligent automation, as industries increasingly adopt robotics to improve productivity, safety, and operational flexibility in manufacturing and logistics.
