Mecon has issued a tender for civil engineering works related to the installation of Stamp Charge Battery No. 12 and associated infrastructure at the SAIL-IISCO Steel Plant (ISP) in Burnpur, West Bengal.
The project, valued at Rs 245.22 crore, includes the construction of key facilities such as a coal tower, RCC chimney, coke storage units, and a cable bridge. The scope covers all civil construction activities, including labour, material procurement, fabrication, supply, transportation, insurance, storage, and handling. Additionally, it involves dismantling, debris removal, and the construction, completion, and maintenance of all required civil structures. The contract also includes procurement, manufacturing, testing, surface preparation for painting, inspection, packing, marking, and transportation of materials to the ISP Steel Plant site.
The deadline for bid submission is 15 April 2025.
