Ajantha Radha Earth Movers Secures $2.3 Billion NCL Contract

Ajantha Radha Earth Movers has been awarded a ₹2,302.85 crore contract by Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) for overburden removal at the Block-B Project, located in Gorbi Post, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

The scope involves excavation and handling of 221.87 million bank cubic meters (MBCM) of solid overburden using advanced mechanized equipment, including excavators, dumpers, drills, dozers, graders, and water sprinklers. The work includes blast hole drilling, loading, transport, unloading, spreading, dozing, grading, and dust suppression, in line with instructions from the engineer-in-charge.

The contract spans five years and represents a comprehensive, integrated work package requiring efficient coordination across excavation, haulage, and site operations. This major project further reinforces Ajantha Radha Earth Movers’ capabilities in executing large-scale mining and earthmoving operations across India.
