Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited (KSMCL) has invited bids for the selection of an Engineering Project Management Consultancy (EPMC) firm for the development of a downhill pipe conveyor system to transport iron ore from the mine head to the railway loading point at Subbarayanahalli near Sandur in Ballari district, Karnataka.
The scope of work includes providing comprehensive engineering consultancy services, including preparation of the detailed project report (DPR), concept and detailed engineering drawings, and tender documents for the selection of execution contractors. The selected consultant will also oversee project implementation and provide operation and maintenance monitoring support for one year following the successful commissioning of the conveyor system.
The proposed infrastructure comprises a downhill pipe conveyor network, feeding stations, transfer towers, reversible conveyors, automated wagon and truck loading systems, and associated civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical works.
The deadline for submission of bids is 30 June 2026.
