NMDC Launches Key Project for 3 MTPA Nagarnar Steel Plant

NMDC Ltd. has issued a tender for the installation of a Blast Furnace (BF) gas pipeline and a gas mixing station, along with associated piping for the Mixed Gas Heating System (MGHS) of the Coke Oven Battery (COB) Phase-II.

The project will be executed on a turnkey basis at NMDC’s upcoming 3 MTPA integrated steel plant in Nagarnar, near Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh. This initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing energy efficiency and infrastructure readiness at the plant.

The gas mixing station and MGHS are essential for improving process efficiency, enabling sustainable fuel usage, and minimizing environmental impact through optimized gas management. The turnkey scope includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, and commissioning.

The deadline for bid submission is 30 September 2025.
