The Andhra Pradesh government has granted Hindustan Zinc a composite license for the exploration and mining of tungsten and associated minerals in a 308-hectare block located at Balepalyam Village, Kanaganapalle Mandal, Sri Sathyasai district.
Issued by the Industries and Commerce Department, the license allows the company to commence operations upon securing all necessary approvals and consents from landowners and relevant authorities. The approval aligns with the state’s efforts to promote the mining sector, with specific provisions for environmental protection and regulatory compliance.
The project is expected to enhance local economic development and augment the region’s mineral resource base, contributing to sustainable growth in Andhra Pradesh.
