IHH Healthcare Expands Its Global Reach with 2,000 New Beds

IHH Healthcare has announced plans to add approximately 2,000 new beds over the next three years, aimed at strengthening its operational scale and expanding its geographical footprint across key markets.

As part of its growth strategy, the Group also introduced a refreshed brand identity to enhance clarity and cohesion across its international network. In India, IHH operates through Fortis Healthcare and Gleneagles Healthcare, managing 35 hospitals with over 5,000 beds across 11 states. Globally, the Group oversees 140 healthcare facilities, including more than 80 hospitals across 10 countries.

In July, IHH launched a strategic collaboration between Fortis Healthcare and Gleneagles Healthcare in India to drive sustainable growth and operational performance. Under this initiative, Fortis will manage five of six Gleneagles hospitals in India, creating synergies in patient care, infrastructure, and financial outcomes.

Prem Kumar Nair, Group CEO of IHH Healthcare, stated, “With our refreshed identity, we are reaffirming our commitment as a multinational healthcare leader shaping the future of care.” He also highlighted IHH’s upcoming ‘FutureHealth. Now’ conference, which will serve as a platform to forge partnerships and drive healthcare innovation.
