50 GW by 2030: Adani Green's Ambitious Green Vision.

Adani Green Energy, the renewable energy arm of the Adani Group, has set a new benchmark by surpassing 12,000 megawatts (MW) of operational capacity, making it India’s first and only renewable energy company to achieve this milestone. Its total portfolio now stands at 12,258.1 MW, comprising 8,347.5 MW of solar, 1,651 MW of wind, and 2,259.6 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity.

This achievement underscores Adani Green Energy’s commitment to delivering 50,000 MW of clean, affordable, and reliable power by 2030. The company’s current operational portfolio powers over 6.2 million homes and helps avoid approximately 22.64 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. A significant driver of this expansion is the world’s largest renewable energy project—a 30,000 MW plant under development at Khavda, Gujarat. Spanning 538 sq. km of barren land, this facility will be the largest power plant globally across all energy sources. Adani Green Energy has already operationalized 2,824.1 MW of renewable energy at Khavda.

As India’s leading renewable energy company, Adani Green Energy develops, owns, and operates large-scale grid-connected solar, wind, hybrid, and hydro pumped storage projects. With a 12.2 GW operational portfolio spread across 12 states, the company remains aligned with India’s decarbonization goals, targeting 50 GW of capacity by 2030.
