Bid Coordinator PFCCL Sets Up Siang Transmission SPV

PFC Consulting (PFCCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation (PFC), has incorporated a special purpose vehicle (SPV) named NERGS III Siang Basin Transmission.

The SPV will lead the development of the “NERGS-III Siang Basin” transmission project. The Ministry of Power (MoP) has appointed PFCCL as the Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) to oversee the selection of a Transmission Service Provider (TSP). In line with MoP guidelines, PFCCL will prepare the project profile and manage initial activities such as land acquisition, forest clearance, and other preparatory work, including surveys and report preparation.

Once the competitive bidding process is completed, the SPV will be transferred to the successful bidder, who will undertake the full project development.
