Premier Energies and RCT Team Up for 12 GWh BESS Plant

Premier Energies has partnered with Germany's RCT Group via a binding term sheet to form a joint venture focused on building a 12 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing plant in Telangana. Executed through Premier Energies' subsidiary, Premier Battery Technologies, the venture kicks off with an initial 6 GWh phase. The plant will produce advanced storage systems tailored for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects both domestically and internationally, merging Premier Energies' manufacturing footprint with RCT India's supply-chain network and engineering expertise to accelerate India's renewable energy goals.
