Indore Metro Goes Deep: HCC-Tata Projects Bags Massive Tunnel Project

Hindustan Construction-Tata Projects JV has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the design and construction of a twin tunnel as part of the Indore Metro Rail Project.

The bid, valued at Rs 2,190.91 crore, covers the construction of a twin tunnel using shield TBM, along with cut-and-cover sections, cross-passages (with or without sumps), ramps, and seven underground stations. The stations included in the scope are Indore Railway Station, Rajwada, Chota Ganpati, Bada Ganpati, Ramchandra Nagar, BSF/Kalani Nagar, and Airport.

The work will also involve architectural finishing, plumbing (including water supply, sanitary installation, drainage, and related works) for the underground section between chainage 5+862 to 14+482.347~14+488.
