RVNL x DVC: Rail Meets Power to Transform Energy Logistics

Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has partnered with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to modernize and expand railway infrastructure supporting DVC’s power plants and captive coal mines.

The collaboration focuses on upgrading rail connectivity, rapid loading systems (RLS), coal handling plants (CHP), silos, and retractable overhead electrification (OHE) systems—boosting fuel transportation efficiency across DVC’s power generation network.
