G Square Scoops Up Historic TVS Land in Madurai for ₹167 Crore

Chennai-based G Square Group has acquired a five-acre land parcel in Madurai from the TVS Group for ₹167 crore.

The company plans to develop a premium plotted project on the site, branded as “G Square Temple View Square.” The development will comprise 55 plots, including 50 residential and five commercial units. Residential plots will be priced from ₹15,990 per sq. ft., with base prices starting at ₹69.64 lakh, while commercial plots will be offered at ₹25,990 per sq. ft., starting from ₹1.13 crore.

The project will be structured across designated zones, with 1.63 acres allocated for residential use, two acres for commercial development, and the remaining area dedicated to infrastructure and shared amenities. Strategically located in Periyar, the site offers strong connectivity to key landmarks such as the Periyar Bus Stand and the Meenakshi Amman Temple.

Commenting on the development, Bala Ramajayam, Founder and Managing Director of G Square Group, stated that the project aligns with the company’s vision of enhancing access to homeownership, particularly for Madurai’s growing middle-income segment.
