GMDA Clears Path for New Dwarka Expressway Service Road

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has begun acquiring land in two villages along the Central Peripheral Road (CPR), linked to the Dwarka Expressway, to construct a new service road.

The road will stretch from the Sector 84 roundabout to the NH 48 cloverleaf. A senior GMDA official stated that the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has completed the land survey and submitted its report, which is currently under review. The survey identifies 4.28 acres in Sihi village and 3.74 acres in Mohammadpur Jharsa for acquisition.

The 12-meter-wide service road is intended to enhance access to residential societies along the expressway and the Haryana government’s Global City project. “Once completed, the road will significantly improve connectivity for nearby villages and residential areas,” said Sanjeev Mann, GMDA’s Chief Town Planner.
