Envision Energy Gives Gujarat Wind Power a New Blade

Envision Energy held the ground-breaking ceremony on September 25, 2025, for its upcoming 2 GW wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in Kalyangadh, Bavla Taluka, in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat.

Part of a ₹500 crore expansion plan, the facility will be Envision’s third manufacturing plant in India and is designed to produce up to 1,500 blades annually using six moulds, catering to both 3.3 MW and 5 MW wind turbine platforms. The project is being developed by DA Group and constructed by Ashwika Warehousing.

Once operational, the plant will support over 4 GW of wind energy capacity across more than 10 project sites in five districts of Gujarat, significantly strengthening Envision’s domestic manufacturing and supply capabilities.

The ceremony was led by Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Kheda, Gujarat, who served as the Chief Guest, alongside senior dignitaries and leadership from Envision Energy India, including Managing Director RPV Prasad.

Envision Energy is recognized for its advanced wind turbine technology, integrating smart control systems, data analytics, and performance optimisation. In addition to wind components, the company is actively expanding into battery energy storage systems and green hydrogen, positioning itself as a holistic clean energy solutions provider for India’s growing renewable energy market.
