India's Green Grid Gets a 1,557 MW Boost from NLCIL

NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal, has reached a major milestone by expanding its renewable energy portfolio to a total installed solar capacity of 1,557.83 MW.

This accomplishment highlights NLCIL’s commitment to advancing India’s transition toward clean and sustainable energy. Its large-scale solar installations are playing a key role in reducing carbon emissions and strengthening the supply of green power to the national grid.

In line with India’s decarbonisation goals, NLCIL plans to continue investing in solar innovation and further expand its renewable energy footprint.
