Power Up! Juniper Green Lands 70 MW FDRE Deal with Tata Power

Juniper Green Energy, a subsidiary of Singapore-based AT Capital Group, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power for a 70 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in Maharashtra.

The project will integrate 180 MWp of solar and wind capacity with a 280 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to deliver reliable, on-demand clean energy. Power supply is scheduled to begin on September 22, 2027.

This agreement marks another significant milestone in Juniper Green’s expansion within India’s renewable energy landscape, following its recent 250 MW FDRE PPA with NHPC for power supply to Haryana.

As of June 2025, Juniper Green Energy has an operational portfolio of approximately 1.45 GWp spanning solar, wind, and hybrid projects. The company continues to support India’s clean energy transition by delivering firm, dispatchable renewable power solutions that enhance grid stability and sustainability.
