NTPC has completed the commissioning of its 23 MW Solapur Solar PV Project in Maharashtra, with the final 13 MW phase now operational.
Located at NTPC Solapur, the project forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio and strengthen its presence in the green energy segment. With the successful commissioning of the final phase, the entire 23 MW capacity of the Solapur solar project is now fully operational.
Following this addition, NTPC’s installed generation capacity has increased to 60,796 MW on a standalone basis and 85,623 MW at the group level. In a regulatory filing, NTPC confirmed the completion of the project, reiterating that the commissioning of the final phase marks full operationalisation of the Solapur Solar PV Project.
