Waaree Energies has secured a significant supply order from a prominent customer involved in renewable power projects across India.
The order involves the supply of 362.5 MWp of solar modules, with deliveries set to commence in the financial year 2025-26. This agreement represents a significant milestone for the company in the domestic renewable energy sector.
As a key player in India's solar energy industry, Waaree Energies is committed to photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing, boasting an impressive installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023. The company operates five facilities, including one each in Surat, Tumb, Nandigram, and Chikhli in Gujarat, and the IndoSolar facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
