The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 12.5 acres of land to 25 industrial units across the state, aiming to boost industrial activity, employment generation, and overall economic growth.
The decision was taken at a meeting of BIADA’s Project Clearance Committee (PCC) held on January 28, 2026, chaired by Industries Department Secretary and BIADA Managing Director Kundan Kumar. The approved projects are expected to attract a cumulative investment of Rs 168.52 crore and generate 1,194 direct jobs, along with additional indirect employment.
The land allotments span multiple sectors, including information technology-enabled services (ITES), food processing, textiles and leather, plastics, and general manufacturing. Companies approved for setting up units include Chemplast Products and Industries, AD Biomass Energy, Redcyber Solutions, and Rishav Multigrains.
The move marks a significant step in Bihar’s efforts to emerge as a diversified industrial hub.
