Ahluwalia Contracts Bags ₹350 Crore Housing Project in Chhattisgarh

Ahluwalia Contracts has secured a significant order worth ₹350.3 crore from Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO) for the construction of a residential housing complex in Chhattisgarh. The project involves the design and construction of 756 two-bedroom apartments at BALCO's Kobra location. The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract is set to be completed within 28 months from the appointed date, marking a substantial addition to the company’s growing portfolio.

This latest project highlights Ahluwalia Contracts’ continued success in winning large-scale contracts in various sectors, particularly in infrastructure and residential development. The housing complex is expected to meet the growing demand for quality residential spaces in the region, catering primarily to the employees and associates of BALCO.

In addition to this new order, Ahluwalia Contracts has recently secured another major project from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) valued at ₹893.48 crore. This project involves the construction of a new terminal building and associated works at an airport. This follows an earlier order from AAI for terminal construction and other facilities at Darbhanga Airport in Bihar, further solidifying the company’s presence in the airport infrastructure sector.

The Chhattisgarh housing project, coupled with these airport infrastructure projects, reflects Ahluwalia Contracts' diversified approach to growth, balancing between residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
