Pratt & Whitney Unveils New Bengaluru Service Hub

Pratt & Whitney, the renowned American aircraft engine manufacturer, has inaugurated a cutting-edge customer service centre in Yelahanka, Bengaluru. This new facility marks a significant expansion of its operations in India, enhancing support for its extensive fleet of 68,000 engines in Canada.

The newly launched centre is part of Pratt & Whitney’s India Capability Centre and will focus on a broad spectrum of services, including maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) support, spare part management, and engine leasing. It will also offer engine reliability analysis, leveraging regional talent to complement its global service standards.

Pratt & Whitney plans to recruit 150 aerospace experts and engineers, further bolstering its workforce and capabilities in India. This move reflects the company’s commitment to investing in regional talent and infrastructure, underscoring its dedication to enhancing product dependability and customer service.

Located alongside Pratt & Whitney’s existing supply chain operations, engineering, and digital transformation centres in India, the new facility will serve a diverse clientele. This includes Indian and international airlines, OEMs, and MROs, supporting the company’s USD 40 million investment in the region.
