Shree Gautam Wins Rs 295 Cr Sainik School Project

Shree Gautam Construction Company has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) in a tender floated by the Public Works Department (PWD), Assam, for the construction of a new Sainik School at Langvoku, located in the Karbi Anglong district.

The project, awarded at a contract value of Rs 295.4 crore, is scheduled for completion within 24 months. This initiative is part of Assam’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and expand access to quality schooling across the state.

Sainik Schools are renowned for fostering discipline, academic excellence, and preparing students for careers in the armed forces and leadership roles. The upcoming institution in Langvoku is expected to serve not only local students but also act as a catalyst for socio-economic development in the region, bringing long-term benefits to Karbi Anglong and its neighboring areas.
