AVG Logistics Secures Rs. 150 Crore Contract for Cargo Train

AVG Logistics, a leading player in the transportation and logistics sector, has successfully clinched a lucrative contract valued at Rs 150 crore from Indian Railways. The agreement involves the lease of a cutting-edge Parcel Cargo Express Train (PCET) that will forge a vital connection between Bengaluru and Ludhiana in Punjab. This specially designated train is poised to undertake a weekly round trip over the next six years, completing the extensive journey in a commendable 72 hours.

Sanjay Gupta, the esteemed Managing Director and CEO of AVG Logistics, emphasized the strategic importance of Ludhiana in this venture. He underscored the city's pivotal role in providing access to key markets such as textiles and cycle manufacturing.
