Ceigall Infra Projects has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a major highway development project in Bihar.
The contract involves the four-laning of the Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah stretch of NH-139W, covering a total length of 78.942 km. The project is divided into two sections: Section 1, from Sahebganj to Areraj (38.362 km), and Section 2, from Areraj to Bettiah (40.580 km).
Awarded under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), the project has an estimated cost of ₹2,160 crore. It includes a 24-month construction period, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance phase. Once completed, the highway is expected to significantly improve connectivity, ease traffic movement, and support regional economic development by providing modern, high-capacity road infrastructure in Bihar.
