Crompton Goes Solar: ₹52 Cr Telangana Deal Signals New Era.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has secured its first major solar rooftop order worth ₹52 crore in Telangana, marking a significant step into India’s growing solar energy sector.

This milestone underscores Crompton’s strategy to diversify and expand into the sustainable energy space, in line with its ambition to increase its total addressable market (TAM) from ₹75,000–₹1,00,000 crore to ₹2,00,000 crore. The company is also gaining traction in the solar pumps segment, supported by a robust order pipeline.

With a combined market opportunity of ₹40,000–₹50,000 crore in solar rooftops and pumps, Crompton is reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering scalable, clean energy solutions and contributing to India’s renewable energy transition.
