SP Sugar & Agro Pvt. Ltd. has announced a major new investment in Maharashtra with a ₹210 crore sugar project set to launch in Bid. This ambitious development will include a state-of-the-art sugar manufacturing facility and a co-generation power unit.
The project will feature a robust sugar production capacity, with the plant designed to produce 300 kilo liters of alcohol per day. In addition to the primary sugar operation, the facility will incorporate a 20 MW co-generation power unit, which will significantly enhance energy efficiency and sustainability.
The new project is poised to bolster the regional economy by generating employment opportunities and stimulating local agriculture. By integrating advanced technology and sustainable practices, SP Sugar & Agro aims to set new standards in the sugar and agro-industry sectors.
