Godrej to Transform Kolkata Skyline with ₹1,650 Cr Luxury Project

Real estate developer Godrej Properties has announced that it has secured a five-acre land parcel in Kolkata through an e-auction conducted by West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (WBHIDCO).

According to a stock exchange filing, the company plans to develop a premium residential project on the site, which is estimated to have a revenue potential of around ₹1,650 crore.

The land parcel is situated along the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass corridor in Kolkata, one of the city’s fastest-growing and best-connected urban stretches. The location offers strong physical and social infrastructure and provides connectivity to key areas such as Salt Lake, New Town, Park Circus, Gariahat, and Garia. It also ensures convenient access to major commercial hubs, IT-ITeS clusters, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities across the city.
