Serene Young @ Heart: Kochi Kicks Off Major Senior-Living Push

Serene Communities, the senior-living arm of Columbia Pacific, has partnered with Kerala-based Asset Homes to invest ₹500 crore in four senior-living projects across the state.

The planned 1.69 lakh sq. ft. development prioritizes the well-being of senior citizens, offering integrated care and clinical oversight through KITES Senior Care, along with healthcare access and emergency support in collaboration with Rajagiri Hospital. The projects are expected to be completed by 2028, addressing the needs of Kerala’s growing ageing population and leveraging the state’s strong NRI base, high life expectancy, and reputation as a retirement-friendly destination.

The first community, Serene Young @ Heart, has been launched in Kochi and features 211 residences comprising one-BHK, 1.5-BHK, and two-BHK units. Serene Communities plans to scale further with 15 additional projects, targeting the development of 10,000 senior-living homes by 2030.
