The Tamil Nadu government signed 92 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) worth a total of ₹24,307 crore during the ‘TN Rising’ investment conclave held in Hosur on Thursday. The proposed projects are expected to generate 49,353 jobs across the state.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presided over the event, overseeing the signing of the investment agreements. He also inaugurated three completed projects worth ₹250 crore and laid the foundation stone for four new initiatives with a combined investment of ₹1,210 crore.
A highlight of the conclave was Zetwerk Manufacturing Business's commitment of ₹5,000 crore to set up a solar cell manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, a project expected to create 3,000 jobs.
The conclave reaffirmed Tamil Nadu's position as a leading destination for industrial investment and innovation in India.
