Bhagyanagar Lights Up Maharashtra with 53MW Solar Win

Bhagyanagar India has received the Letter of Award (LoA) for a 53 MW solar power generator (SPG) under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, a scheme aimed at feeder-level solarisation under Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme.

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL), a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, has allocated this project, which requires a total investment of Rs 245 crore. The solar power plant will be established in Maharashtra and is expected to be completed within 18 months from the LoA issuance.

The operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project will be carried out for 25 years from the commercial operation date (COD). The project has been awarded a tariff rate of Rs 3.09 per kWh, with financial support from the Government of India in the form of a subsidy of Rs 1.05 crore per MW under the central financial assistance (CFA) program.
