The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is seeking bids to lease a prime 4.71-acre plot along NH-16 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This land, set for a 99-year lease with a reserve price of Rs 170 crore, will be developed with 60 percent residential and 40 percent commercial use. The site offers a substantial built-up area of 91,403.31 square meters.
Located at Dondaparthi Village, the plot boasts a strategic position with 60 meters of frontage and neighboring landmarks like the Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project District Office. It is bordered by Defence Land to the north and east, NH-16 to the south, and a secondary road to the west, making it ideal for development.
Proximity to residential zones, educational institutions, and the upcoming Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project ensures excellent connectivity and development potential. The metro's Steel Plant Junction to Kommadi Corridor runs along NH-16, enhancing the site's accessibility.
Visakhapatnam, or Vizag, is Andhra Pradesh's largest city and a burgeoning port city. With rapid industrial growth in sectors like steel, petroleum refining, and fertilizers, Vizag presents a lucrative opportunity for developers.
Under the Ministry of Railways, the RLDA focuses on optimizing railway land use through commercial leases, redevelopment projects, and creating multi-functional complexes.
